Hydrologic Modeling of the Trou du Nord Watershed, Haiti

Hydronia engineers in collaboration with Florida International University assisted the Interamerican Development Bank to evaluate extreme hydrologic rainfall-runoff scenarios in the Trou du Nord Watershed in Haiti. The project objectives included assessing flooding of the IDB funded Caracol Industrial Park. The RiverFlow2D Hydrologic component was implemented to simulate 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100-yr events accounting for spatially distributed rainfall and infiltration losses.
